UPS, UPS 3 Day Select atleast it arrives on time...
I was a high bidder on EBAY.COM for a computer. The computer case is tower, and I had the options of how to ship it. Of course I chose UPS because I have always had good expierance with UPS in the past. My package arrived the 2nd day instead of the 3rd day A GREAT surprise. When I opened the box is when I saw my first disapointment. I lifted out the case and the side pannel stayed in the box that it was shipped in. I thought to myself, hmm that`s weird but thought nothing of it and took the side pannel and reconnected it to the computer case. I continued to plug in the power, monitor, kb, and mouse connecters. Then when I turned on the computer my second surprise upset me more. "No Operating System Found" This really upset me because the person I purchased it from is a really good friend of mine and we had software pre-installed along with Windows98se (which I do own). I called him up and asked him if he removed everything, and the good news I received was "No Of course not". This made me wonder what else was destroyed in the shipping process... I took off the side pannel again and looked inside the computer case. The hardrive was sideways inside its slot, and the IDE Cable was not connected. I had to reconnect all the IDE and SCSI Cables inside of the computer, and screw the hardrive back into its place. After doing all this (45minutes of work) I put the case back together and then booted up for the first time. The computer worked, and I was happy...
A warning to ALL UPS does not take care of packages, friends have gotten computer cases that were dented completely in. If you go with UPS you should insure your shipping.
