Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for Xbox 360

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 otherwise, MW3 for short; is a 1st person shooter game. Meaning, it's played in the view of how any person would hold a gun to shoot and fire. It's not like Tomb Raider or Devil May Cry where the game is 3rd person, where you can see the entire character. This game, like the rest of the Call of Duty games, focuses on one main thing: survivng warfare. However, game takes place more so in the Now of life, rather than in the time period of WWI or the Cold War. I'm no expert on warfare so I may be wrong about that last part. But, this game like the others, do focus on a story line that has to do with making it from Point A to Point B without dying. 

You will start off with a weapon or two, sometimes no weapon at all, and have just a knife and will start off by killing a couple enemies and taking their weapons as your own. You may have to navigate through a village or town solo or with the help of a couple comrades from your unit, or the loca unit of the very enemy that you are fighting. 

The graphics in this game a SPECTACULAR! Realistic! AMAZING! And on point! When enemies are shot, they bleed. When they are shot enough, they are able to crawl to their deaths, leaving behind a trail of blood. Not like their blood oozed out of them, but similar to reality where blood is expelled but in the way that it should when one is crawling for their life. 

Your weapons, ranging from a pistol all the to your light machine guns, are so realistic, you begin to wonder what exists in real life and what doesn't. Reloading weapons like the real things, are identical. If a pistol runs out of ammo, your character will drop a magazine and put in a new one. When you knife an enemy, the realistic sounds of being sliced are proof. When attacked by an enemy you can hear your character grunt in pain, while hearing the bullets pierce through him.

Your arsenal of weapons are great. There are at least 30 or more different firearms to choose from. Each, having their own strengths and weaknesses.

However, the downside about this is that no matter how much we, as humans would love to see, there will never be a time that we will heal back 100% health after receiving a barrage of bullets piercing our flesh. And in this game, you will get shot. A lot. But the great thing about this is, there is body armor to decrease health loss, as well as care packages to improve gameplay. One for example, having the ability to reload twice as fast. 

Even though, the Call of Duty game series is based on real life events that have occured with the military world, it's not exactly identical. In real life, if you're doing convoy and your Humvee gets hit by an IED, the chances of survival are rare. If you do survive, there are possibilities of losing a limb or few. Call of Duty did not get that detailed when it came to death. Yes enemies that crawl away bleeding for their life is cool, but when a grenade is tossed at enemies and blows up, seeing actually body parts would enhance gaming experience. 

Also it would not hurt to see Call of Duty include some hand-to-hand combat. Or, at least the option of hand-to-hand combat.
