I purchased this mouse at Staples for $10 on sale. I installed the mouse on my PC; the left button did not work. Targus support was quick to respond to my questions by e-mail. After some simple troubleshooting, the mouse was deemed inoperable. My only option was to return the mouse for an even exchange. To exchange the mouse meant shipping it to Anaheim California at a cost of approximately $7. No other option was allowed as I did not purchase directly through the company's website. Spending 70% of an item's purchase price to fix an original failure appears expensive.
