SanDisk 64MB Digital Camera Card: Ruined Everything!

Pros: I'm still so sad about it that I can't think of any.
Cons: Randomly broke. Erased my irreplaceable pictures. No customer service.
The Bottom Line: Use at your own risk. (But take my advice and just don't.)

This memory card is terrible. I am so disappointed.
Why Did I purchase This Product?
The memory card that came with my camera only held 21 pictures. I purchased this one because it held 84. That seemed like a decent amount for my 1984x1488 sized pictures. It came with a hard plastic clear case, which I used to put the original memory card in to carry with me in case I wanted extra pictures.

Incident?!
Yes, a tragic incident. I was innocently taking irreplaceable pictures with my camera when suddenly I was struck with a message on the screen saying ERROR! The camera would no longer take pictures and when I got home and tried to load the ones I had taken onto my computer, THEY WERE GONE! The memory card wouldn't even format. It just suddenly broke, for no reason. I never even take it out of the camera so it was not due to damage. I then had to revert back to the small memory card that came with the camera because it was permanently broken.
What Did I Do About This?
I emailed the company after finding no telephone number on their webpage. This is summer 2004. They never responded.
I bought a new camera recently and no longer have to deal with SanDisk products. I am scarred for life, I still wish I had those pictures it stole from me.
This Must Happen Often
I casually mentioned The Incident to an employee while shopping for a new digital camera. He said SanDisk will replace any memory cards that have problems. No thanks, I'd rather have a card that doesn't commonly have problems. They never answered my e-mail anyway.
