Three years ago when we went in search of our first computer, we knew basically nothing and just bought the system recommended by the salesman.

Now armed with a little more knowledge I bravely searched for our new system. After weeks of debating what we needed we decided it would be best to have our system built so that he could play his games and I could be productive. I was amazed to learn that Word is not a standard on every computer.

With the help of a very patient salesperson at Staples we played fill in the blank at both the Compaq and HP Kiosiks to find out it was much cheaper to order the Presario than the Pavillion with similar features.

It took about three weeks for our system to arrive but we are very pleased. Our 5000 series has Windows ME, 800 Mhz, and comes with a nice selection of programs pre-installed. Word 2000 was also included. Yeah!!!! They even included a DVD CD Rom at no extra charge.

This system was easy to setup and has proven to be just what we needed all the speed and functions we were hoping for.
