Pros: Cheap Easy to use, powerful computer
Cons: The only thing I can think of that isnt 100% perfect is the AMD k6 revision 2 processor...ATHLON or P3 (maybe even p4..?) would have kicked azz

First of all, let me tell you that this PC was probably one of the greatest deals I have come across yet. Not only is it incredibly easy to use, and powerful, but it also cost me only $799. But this was back in March 2000 so I'm sure that it can be bought for much cheaper now. It is packed with an AMD K6 revision 2 processor, which runs at 500 MHZ. It comes with a standard 56k modem, a 4x write, 4x rewrite and 24x read CD drive, and a ultra DMA 15 Gig hard drive. All of this for 799 bucks. What a deal. A few months after I bought it, I decided that there was only one thing I would want to change about it, and that was the 3D card. So I hopped down to babbages and picked myself up a shiny, high speed voodoo3 to play my games on.
This PC is now all that I wanted and more. I am writing this after having the computer for 9 months, and I still must say that I am amazed by it all the time. It runs all my games, all my programs, and holds a standard modem. Let me reiterate...the HP Pavilion 6640C is a GREAT deal, and anyone who wants a powerful PC at 500 MHZ should check it out. At this point it will probably be a lot less than the price I bought it for, for I was recently at COMPUSA and saw more powerful computers for cheaper prices than what I bought this for. So anyone interested in this computer shall probably get it at an EXTREMELY LOW price.
