I got this computer basically for my birthday about 7 months ago or so, and I absolutely love it! It's not too fancy or complicated since I mostly use it for Internet and doing homework.
It has a GREAT Pentium III processor chip 600MHz, and a 30 gig hard drive! It has a CD-RW drive which allows me to burn CDs, and 128MB memory. All these features have spoiled me! I couldn't believe the speed of this computer when I first got it! It was just great! All the memory and space allows me to do so much minus the frustration of slowing down. You can play games, use large programs, and overload your hard drive with mp3'z, and the speed of the computer is hardly affected!
Basically, I have heard about the good reputation of computers that HP has to offer, and I chose this mid-priced computer. Now there are faster and better computers out there, but if you're a above average user of the Internet or an intermediate user, the Pavillion 8665C is a great investment!
