Pros: Good components, decent reliability
Cons: Way too expensive
The Bottom Line: While I give this product a marginal recomendation because of its build quality and reliability, I can not fully recommend it because of its steep price.

| libera's Full Review: Sony VAIO PCV-R539DS PC Desktop |
I have has a chance to gain a little bit of expirience with this machine. My overall opinion ranges from just average to fairly good.
The Sony brings with it a fairly decent feature set, a unique style (its a personal matter wether or not you will like it though), good reliabiltiy and a steep price.
The overall quality of the system is quite good. The components are of high quality and all work well together. The system also seems to have a pretty good overall reliability. The standard warranty is, well, standard. If you plan on keeping this system for awhile, buy the extended warranty only if your local delaer has a good repair facility.
The main reason that I would not purchase this system is its price. Because it has the Sony name it is very expensive compared to Dell, Gateway, Micron, etc. Considering that the computer is not heads above the others, this price difference is unjustified.
