What a system! This computer has it all. With it's P III 600 mhz, 128MB RAM, and a 27 GB hard drive, DVD drive, and CD-RW drive, you can do everything with this.
This system comes with a 27 GB hard drive which makes it perfect for digital video editing. The bigger the hard drive the better, because with digital video editing, you can fill up the hard drive rather quickly.
The CD-RW drive that comes with this computer can record at speeds of 8x for data and 4x for audio and rewriting. What this means is that it is super fast. A typical 600 MB cd usually only takes about 10 minutes to copy.
The video card has 16MB of video memory and is not built on to the motherboard. It is a separate video card taking up the system's AGP slot, which allows for better graphics.
The system also has 3 PCI slots, with one used by the modem. This allows you to add other components to the computer with very little problem.
The software that comes with the system is a really good package. It comes with Windows 98 Second Edition, Word 2000, Adobe Premiere LE, and the most popular cd burning software on the market. The system comes installed with Adaptec Easy CD Creator and Direct CD, which allows you to do duplicate disks as well as dragging and dropping files to a CDRW disk. It also comes with Sony's DVGate software for the video editing. It also comes with Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge software which allows you to do editing of sound files.
