Pros: Reliabilty, durability, ease of use

Cons: higher priced than many other modems, but well worth it

The reason for purchasing this product is because of its reputation. I have worked with 3com/USR modems for a few years now, and I find that these modems are simple to use and rarely encounter problems.
I believe that this modem is good for both home as well as business use because of its durability and great price. I purchased this modem a little over 4 months ago and paid $129 and I know that I have received my moneys worth already. This company cannot manufacture anything bad in my opinion. Starting with the 300bps modems, this manufacturer has created GREAT modems. Modems that many ISP's use for their nodes. Their reliability and durability has surpassed so many others and will always be so much better than any other company.
