I spent almost 6 months of indecision before deciding what monitor to buy. The Cornerstone 19 inch p1401 has really delivered for me. The picture is very clear and can do very high resolutions yet minimize eye strain.
Major pluses are the 5 year swap out warranty for only $50, which buys a lot of peace-of-mind when making a large investment. Shopping On-Line through www.monitorsdirect.com was as good as on-line shopping gets... everything was very quick and they really follow up to make sure you are enjoying your new product. The review for the p1400 didn't seem to like the on-screen controls, but if they are the same as the p1401, then the reviewer is out-to-lunch... they are very easy to use.
My only reservation about Cornerstone, and this is true of everybody still, is that they don't support linux users yet with their software, or drivers if you buy their graphics cards... (their graphics cards are essentially from 3dfx and you can easily get drivers there, http://linux.3dfx.com/). Otherwise this monitor and my experience with MonitorsDirect.com is, in my opinion, definitely the way to go for anyone in the market for a 19 incher. The price I paid includes shipping in 2 days, and a 5 year on-site swapout warranty.
