Cons: Takes up a lot of space for a 19" monitor.
The Bottom Line: Basically I think this is a great monitor for the price. Not a popular brand but I have been pleasantly surprised by the overall value.

In my opinion the LG Studioworks 995E is a really great monitor. I purchased mine about 6 months ago from Onvia.com, for about $299 which was great price for a 19" inch monitor. I checked several user opinion sites and several computer rating sites. All gave good reviews for this monitor.
Some its main features include; supported resolutions of 640 x 480 up to 1600 x 1200 @ 75 Hz NI, easy to use on screen control panel, Plug and Play, compatible with PC and Mac, EPA Energy Star and DPMS compliant, and MPR-II low-emission compliant.
Overall I think the screen is very clear and crisp. But it take some set-up time to make it that way. The settings out of the box were not really that great. The color took a long time to adjust but once adjusted it is great. I do not notice any blurry areas in any of the corners. The on-screen controls are great, very easy to navigate. Made all the adjusting easier and less stressful. Screen does not have much glare to it, better then most monitors I have worked on.
The enclosed manual is very good. Very well organized and was helpful when trying to adjust the settings. All drivers were enclosed. And I have to agree with another eopinioner that this monitor has a nice long cord.
Basically I think this is a great monitor for the price. Not a popular brand but I have been pleasantly surprised by the overall value.
