I bought this monitor in mid-2000 and it lasted me until a few weeks ago. During this time I didn't have any real problems with it. The image quality was great, ultra-sharp text, and it could display 1600x1280 at 85Hz. Unfortunately, it developed a problem and keeps shutting off by itself. The only way to "cure" this temporarily is to turn off the monitor, UNPLUG it (because it's actually on when plugged in, see the manual), and then try again after a few hours. The warranty is abysmal, I'm apparently supposed to ship it to California from CANADA at my own expense both ways. I'm planning to take it to a local repair shop and see what happens. Nice monitor, bad quality and terrible warranty. My next monitor should be one with a 3 year parts and labor warranty and service in Canada. NO MORE MAG!
