Good display, if you can get one on the cheap.

Pros: Clear display despite it's age. Same resolution as a 15" LCD screen. Sony quality.
Cons: Nearing the end of its useful life. Not suitable for gaming. A bit too wide.
The Bottom Line: A good 1024 x 768 display for it's age. If you can get one at a bargain price it's great value.

| terrencemorgan's Full Review: Sony L Series Model 133 Monitor |
I got this display off Ebay for £110 in November 2002.
It was going cheap because it has a small permanent mark on the screen where someone has dropped it.
The Sony CPD-L133 is a excellent display considering its advanced age ( the screen I have was made in 1999 ).
13.3 inches might seem small but because the resolution of the screen is the same as a 15 inch display ( 1024 x 768 ) there is little noticeable difference between the two sizes.
Sony stopped manufacturing this display years ago, so the only places you will find it are Ebay and old stock clearance sales.
If you can get one at the right price dont let the age of the display put you off. Of course because it used old LCD technology the pixel refresh speeds are pretty low which makes it unsuitable for fast action games.
But as I use this as a secondary display on my secondary video adapter this is not a problem.
