JettaIII's Full Review: Apple Pro (M8690G/A) Mouse
This mouse is beautiful, and thats about the only thing it has going for it.
Appearence:
The forte of this mouse. It looks like it was made of one piece. It doesnt have traditional buttons, rather the entire mouse acts as a button and is clear. Underneath it is another layer of pretty smoked plastic with the apple logo on it. When idle, it emits a pretty low glow, it lights up more if you move it.
Usability:
Well, it looks good, how does it work? Well, if you rest your hand on the mouse, you may click it accidentaly. The button has a pivot point that should prevent that from happening, but an unwanted click may make it through every once in a while. Underneath the mouse is a little dial that changes the pressure required to press the button. There are three settins; low, medium, and high.
The cord is really short at only two feet. This may be a problem if you place your keyboard on a tray and your mouse on a different surface.
The mouse is very roundish and the cord seems to be designed to kinda sneak under it and prevent you from clicking. This can get very annoying, especially when youre stressed and every little thing irritates you.
Speaking of irritating, the little dial under the mouse that i mentioned earlier seems to get dirty and scrape your surface. Another little irritant that makes this mouse get on your nerves.

If you have an older Mac, and want you REALLY wanna keep the apple theme, then maybe id suggest you buy this mouse. However, I strongly recommend against it when there are far better choices for the money.
The Apple Pro Mouse has no rollers or tracking mechanisms to wear out or clog, and no mouse balls to fish out and clean. Besides all that, there's no ...More at eBay
