Re: trackball vs. mouse (Reply to this comment)
by Jannie0
I loved it in the beginning and its idea of ball-free.

However, moving a mouse around didn't feel "right" to me after using a Trackball for so many years.

That's the drawback...anyone use to a Trackball won't like ANY mouse.

trackball vs. mouse (Reply to this comment)
by kinsiderby
It seems you like it because it's optical but hate it because it's a mouse, and no matter what mouse is put in front of you will say you hate it because it isn't a trackball.

I however don't like trackballs. I had one on an old Toshiba laptop. I couldn't get used to it. But I did find it useful for a pool game I had installed.

That's the main benefit of this mouse, no cleaning.

It is alittle difficult to get used to after using a trackball for so long though, but worth the effort!

I loved my LogiTech Trackball, don't get me wrong--But, I had to clean it constantly!!!!

Sooner or later, they wear out (7 years ain't bad though!) and I wanted to try a more maintenance free design....This IntelliMouse is definitely it!

If you ever do change, try it!

Thanks for visiting!

Call me old-fashioned, (Reply to this comment)

but 29MB for a mouse driver is too much for me... I'm satisfied with my 4-years old Logitech :)
