BaTTo's Full Review: Microsoft Intelli Optical (D58-00026) Mouse
I must say I'm impressed with this mouse.
Not only is it cheaper, smaller and more practical that its older brother the Intellimouse Explorer, but, it is also a far better choice for the hardcore gamer such as myself.
Installation:
Easy, and intuitive. This mouse will be automatically setup as a USB device for True Plug & Play.
Features:
Four buttons and a rubber wheel (which also serves as a button if pressed).
Ergonomics:
Perfect for right hand/left hand users. Also small and lightweight for enhanced gaming performance.
Looks:
True the colors clash, however, Microsoft's choice in color and material chosen for this mouse is more durable as the color will not get rubbed off as it happens with the silver giant (Intellimouse Explorer).
Accuracy:
This mouse delivers on its promise of accurate optical movement (that got even better with 33% faster movement on the latest model).
Software:
Unnecessary yet helpful if you need to change the default operation of any button.
Conclusion:
If you are left handed this is THE ONE. If your hands are not terribly big this is THE ONE. It has the right price, the right(left) shape and the deadly accuracy required to make it the perfect ally for a gamer.
