I recently purchased a brand new Apple PowerBook G3, complete with 400mHZ, 6GB, a DVD drive, 64MB of RAM, and plenty more. For a little under $2500, this is one of the best deals on the market.
One of the unique features of this PowerBook is a STANDARD DVD drive. Unlike other laptops, this one does not require you to buy a separate DVD drive to store information or watch your favorite movies. Also standard is the 400MBps FireWire ports. With these, a person is able to transfer data between peripherals at an incredible rate. These may include printers,
CD-Rs, ZIP drives, etc.
This laptop also comes complete with a very manageable 14.1" display. This is large enough to display everything clearly, but small enough to not make it too cumbersome.
Overall, this laptop is well worth the $2500. Complete with a 5 hour battery, a person will be able to accomplish what they need to with plenty of time to spare. Plus, at only about 6lbs, nobody has to worry about ever lugging around a PowerBook again.
