Pros: Fast, great looking, TFT screen

Cons: Screen cable probs. Can't afford one for my wife!

Great machine - very quick and sensational features. One bugbear - the 13.3" screen (14.1 and 12.1 not affected) has a faulty cable. The cable was replaced (twice) and the screen (once) under warranty. Apart from that, the only compaints I have are from people saying "You're still using a Mac!". So lots of Mac-evangelism opportunities.

Built in ethernet, S-video out, 56km modem means its fully laden with features wintel laptops require a 500 buck PCMCIA card to enjoy.

Only problem is my wife wants one too! Maybe she will settle for an iBook
