Probably one of the best reviews I've read for the Powerbook. Best part of it comes from the fact that you came from Windows.

You did alot to dispatch with alot of misconceptions and doubts that keep PC users from considering the Mac.

Oh, and the Powerbook was recently updated to top its predecessor, as you probably know. A faster G4 (667 Mhz with 133 Mhz bus) and a bigger and faster hard drive (48 GB 5400 RPM IBM Travelstar based on glass platter technology) and a significantly faster video card. ATI Radeon Mobility... from what I've read it blows the GeForce 2 Go out of the water... and the option to burn CDs.

Great job. Easily Most Helpful here.

I could not have said it better (and I wrote a review also). The more I use my 500 Mhz Powerbook G4 the more I like, so much so I recently installed an internal 48 GIG Travelstar hard drive in mine. I too am a Windows user and hate single click mice, but the double click Logitech wireless wheel mouse remedies that.
