| maximal87's Full Review: Apple PowerBook G4 15.2 in. (M8362LL/A) Mac Notebo... |
I spent all of my computing formative years on PC's, occaissionally brushing up mith macs during college. Back in those days of experimentation, i was less than impressed. . . untill now. This laptop's stunning good looks, PC standard (USB, FIREWIRE) expandability, and widescreen are phenomenal; even better is Apple's software, which does more "out of the box" than any other operating system I have seen. I was ripping cd's, burning music, downloading photos from my camera, and checking email all within 30 minutes of getting this little gem! I didn't even have to install any device software. Amazing. I can't wait to get a digital video camera and start playing with imovie; i can even use my mp3's as sound tracks for movies. My only complaint is that CDRW models were really pricey - i got a dvd equipped laptop as a refurb and then bought an external CDRW from SONY on EBAY for less than $150 and saved about $500. This is one tight package. Mac is STACKED!
