Pros: Simply the fastest laptop on the market!
Cons: It can't carry-on a conversation very well.
The Bottom Line: This is the most wonderful computer that I have ever had the privilege of using, and seeing for that matter. Power, elegance, and simplicity. That's Macintosh

| spazent's Full Review: Apple PowerBook G4 15.2 in. (M8362LL/A) Mac Notebo... |
The Titanium Powerbook G4 is screamingly fast. Not to mention the absolutely cool looking 99.5% commercially pure titanium casing. At 667mhz the G4 chip inside the new powerbook with a 133mhz bus can squash even a 1.3ghz pentium.
The powerbook comes with a gigantic 30 gigabyte harddrive that I just can't seem to fill up. Throw in 512mb of RAM, a CD-RW/DVD drive and the revolutionary MacOSX and you have the best laptop in the history of computing. There's also a gigantic software bundle prepackaged for your convenience.
Imovie, for editing home movies on your mac. iPhoto, for editing the pictures off of your digital camera. iTunes for listening to your Mp3 collection and burning CDs. AppleWorks, which give you almost all of the same functions of Microsoft Office without the price or the lost harddrive space.
If you must use Windows only software on your new Mac laptop then you may want to consider purchasing Connectix's Virtual PC. It's a $150 program that runs windows in a separate window on your Macintosh desktop. It's compatible with everything Windows that I've tried and I've not yet seen a report of compatibility issues with Virtual PC. It's a must if you "need" to use a windows program, however most of the important programs that are avaliable for Windows have Macintosh counterparts that are often better than the Windows version.
Microsoft's Office X is a prime example of this.
The quams that I do have about the TiG4 is that Apple hasn't yet put a 933mhz G4 in it yet, but that's going to be coming soon. The voice command software bundled with MacOS X is a little buggy and a bit ocward to use. Other than this, it's an almost perfect laptop computer.
Oh, and did I mention that it's only 1 inch thick? Well it is!!
Buy this computer!
