Ah... Apple Computer has done it agian. They have released an update to thier iBook. This Macintosh Computer has everything you need for school, work, or even home. It runs at a blazing 466mhz, has a DVD drive for watching DVD movies, comes with the following ports: USB, FireWire, Ethernet, Modem, Audio Visual ( You can use this feature to present you iBooks screen on a TV or a Computer Screen with RCA ports. I have this computer and I have to say I love it. The computer comes with Mac OS 9 and you can upgrade it to Mac OS X (not included) You can also upgarde the RAM (memory) from 64mb to 500mb. My iBook is the color Key Lime, but this iBook is Graphite. The color doen't really matter although I perfer green.
What is great about this iBook is that it is upgradable and VERY easy to use. You can go wireless by adding Apple's AirPort Card (Needs Apple's AirPort Base Station to work) This means you can share files, surf the internet, and chat with your friends while checking your e-mail without being connected to ANY wires. Also the iBook comes witha 6 hour battery. (Battery life varies from application to application) So you can watch DVD movies ona plane or play awsome games on the road. With Apple's FireWire port you can import Video from you digital camera and edit them right on your computer with the program iMovie. Then when you are done editing you can put your edited version back on the tape! WOW! You can also add Digital Cameras, Game Contorlers, Keyboards, mice and much, much, more with the USB port. Use the 56k Modem to connect to the internet and surf the web. You can check your mail and chat with friends. You will be able to connect to the intenet right out of the box. It takes less than 10 minutes. If you have a Cable or DSL internet connection you can take advantage of the Ethernet port. You can also use the Ethernet port for sharing files from one computer to another. The iBook comes with a 10gb hard drive and a 12.1 inch screen. The Apple iBook is a great way to go, besides "Everything is Easier on a Mac!" This computer was $1,599, but now on eBay it is only $999 (used)
