If you are looking for a reliable notebook, taking up little space and works fast, then the Compaq Presario 1270 Series is the one for you. I have had this notebook for about a year and I still use it everyday for everything that I need.

I have what any standard computer has: internet, Windows 98, Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer, Quicken, and my own files and programs and pictures. It's perfect, I couldn't ask for anything more!

There have been a couple times that it has froze up, but other than that, everything about it has been wonderful to use. The screen size is a great size, not too small at all. The 1270 has only been out for about one year, so its not yet outdated. The price ( about $1699) is adequate for this notebook.

So if you're looking for something to carry around and use it for school and personal use, this is a great find and I couldn't be happier with my choice.
