For the first month of owning my Compaq Presario 1675 Laptop, I loved it! It was quick, stylish, very convenient, and the sound on it was wonderful!
After the first month I began having problems with the charging unit. It was heating up so much that the plastic tip on the plug melted (yikes.) I contacted Compaq, and shipped the product back to them. It took around 3 weeks to receive the product back again.
For a few weeks everything was fine, I was happy and there were no problems. Then the same problem occurred again. Once again I returned the computer to Compaq. After waiting 4 weeks to receive it again, I called the company because I was a bit worried about it. I was on hold for quite awhile but finally someone talked to me. I was told that my computer had been 'misplaced' and would be sent to me as soon as possible. Three weeks later, still no laptop.
One day when I pulled into my driveway I saw a box lying on my front porch. No one was home, but my computer was in a Compaq box, on the front porch, in the cold and rain. I was so upset that I insisted that I get my money back, which Compaq reluctantly did.
