I needed a new computer, and I decided, I travel a lot, I might as well get a portable one. So, I got to researching and I finally decided I'd go for this one, reasons: Its small, lightweight, and has DVD. Now I'm not a computer person, but with 650MHz, the numbers sound good. The Goods: 650MHz, Small and Lightweight. The Bads: Sometimes slow internet access (even with a 56K Modem), and, personally, Microsoft Word (98) sucks. The Uglies: This isn't a toy, type hard and a key might pop off. (Happened to me) The D came off, and was inreplacable. So we sent it in, and sadly enough, Compaq had to clear the computer, yep, that means all my work was gone when it returned (2 weeks later). THAN we had to send it in again because it got a virus, another ugly, Compaq, apposed to Macintosh (my old computer) NEVER got a virus. Within a month of owning it, I had to send it in twice. Again they deleted everything I had on the computer. But, personally, this computer does it for me. Its good to go, I'd recommend it. Its also cheap, (if you buy it in one of those "COMPUTERS, MAGAZINES, CIGARETTES" stores you see in NYC.)
