Pros: 15" screen is the only aspect of the machine that worked well.
Cons: Unreliable, poor quality. Everything.........except the display
The Bottom Line: Do not buy it, too undependable. $1000 in repairs in under two years.

| pismo10's Full Review: Compaq Presario 1825 (112196-003) PC Notebook |
This is the worst piece of electronic equipment I have ever owned. Bought in Dec 99, since has needed two new hard drives, two new keyboards, two new batteries (the original one never worked, un-chargeable out of the box, the floppy drive worked for less than a month and the replacement lasted even less time. Very slow, poor networking ability. The only good thing was the nice 15" screen. Does not hold enough memory. Totally unreliable, every day it was some new problem, I never new if it would even boot up and half the time it took an hour just to get it going. I finally just threw it away. Biggest waste I time and money I have ever experienced. Avoid at all costs. I would never buy another Compaq product again.
