| dethx's Full Review: Compaq Presario 305 (102331-003) PC Notebook |
The Compaq Presario 305 is a wonderful notebook computer. In combines speed, power, and size all into one convenient package. The hard disk is big enough for presentations, the memory sufficient to carry the load of many programs operating at once, the 56K modem fast enough to surf the Web and get e-mail quickly, and the Presario is small and compact enough to carry anywhere; it has a very small footprint and can used in many spaces where bulky desktops or tower cannot go. The battery lasts anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on hard disk/cdrom/floppy disk usage and how bright your screen is. What I like about the 305 is, unlike the 1020, it doesn't get hot. the Presario 1020 that i have, you can be burned after the notebook has been on for some time. The only real bad thing about the Presario is the price - you ARE buying a name, and it will cost you more than a generic notebook. I recommend this computer to the constantly-on-the-go and those who like to use the computer NOT sitting at a desk.
