| sirguido's Full Review: Hewlett Packard Pavilion N3310 (F1926A) PC Noteboo... |
The Hewlett-Packard N3310 is the entry level laptop in the HP Pavilion series. You can compare statistics on laptops available today but I’ll tell you why I chose this model. The screen is called a SVGA. In my opinion this screen splits the difference in quality between a dual scan display and a TFT/Active Matrix type, it also splits the difference in price. The N3310 also has a 13” screen which is larger than the average entry level model size screen. The processor is not the fastest on the market but is still plenty fast for word processing, excel, internet, and music at 500mHz. The CD player controls are located on the front of this unit for easy access just like a portable CD player. There is a PS2 port for an external mouse when you don’t want to use the touch pad mouse. A USB port to add things like a zip drive or a variety of other accessories, as well as, a printer port. Battery life is rated as 3.5 hours which is one of the longer battery life ratings on the market. But the biggest reason that I chose this model of computer is the price. At $1200 US it is one of the most cost effective purchases out there.
