Pros: It is a good desktop replacement system
Cons: some of the features are not well intergrated
The Bottom Line: If you are a business pro, not traviling on many coach class airlines then this laptop is great but this is not a good laptop for a student.

| feelmybase69's Full Review: Lenovo ThinkPad A20 2629 (262962U) PC Notebook |
My college requires evey student to have an IBM THINKPAD A20m (2628-41U). The laptop it self is a great one. The system is very well designed. the keyboard is set up so you can rest your hands on the base and the mouse is very acurate. IBM also decided to add the usefull easy-scroll button (i love it). The screen is great. full of bright colors and perfect resolution. The 56k modem worked every time i have tried it and i currently use a xircom network PCMCIA card to connect to my network. There is not alot of support on the web for the product but IBM has a great upgrade spot on the site to buy upgrades for the laptop. The USB on the system is weak, with only one port. The port works fine with a zip drive or mouse... but when i use my Intel Pro web cam there seems to not be enough bandwidth to have a good flow of motion on the screen, so it seems choppy. Also there seems to sometimes be a problem with the shut-down of the computer but it has not posed any threat to the integraty of the system..
I would not recomend this laptop to someone who wants good sound cause the 2 small speakers are not very music friendly when played at high volume. But for the business pro. the computer is a great tool. I have found that when traviling on most airlines, the screen can sometimes be too tall for the table... it can be a inconveance to some.. but it is posible to use, just uncofortably.
