| WMcMullin's Full Review: Sony VAIO Z505JSK PC Notebook |
Someone just bought me the Sony Z505JS for college for $3,000 because is was so thin. While this does make it convenient, it is also a very unstable system. Every little thing you do, such as opening a web page, can freeze it up. It freezes on my at least once a day. Hopefully, you are not working on something you have not saved yet. If you decide to get this computer be sure to back up the whole system OFTEN.
Some error messages causing the computer to not leave safe mode caused me to reformat the computer and start all over. Neither Sony nor Microsoft's technical support could help.
As a computer salesperson at SEARS and a long-time consumer, I recommend not spending the extra money on this Sony product.
