Pros: Nice screen, quiet processor.
Cons: Terrible customer service. Lousy Keyboard- sounds like a tin roof. Mouse clicks loud enough to wake up the person next to you.

| JodyAR's Full Review: Sony VAIO XG9 PC Notebook |
I bought a Sony XG19 yesterday and boy was it a lemon. The swapable bay was defective and would not release drives. Both the Cdwrite and the DVD drives were defective. Worst of all, Sony customer service were unhelpful and even rude, hanging up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor. The company I bought it from Microwarehouse/Macwarehouse refused to take it back--saying it does not as a policy take back computers from Sony and even if they are hugely defective from the time you first switch them on, because Sony refuses to take them back. So no more Sonys for me. I suspect this is the exception not the rule, as I have a friend who bought one without problems. But when there are problems, this early, and of this magnitude, you expect good support.
