If money is the problem in deciding about a laptop or you have never owned a laptop before let me recommend this Satellite 1555. The convenient of a laptop is always a plus. Toshiba is a reliable name brand and their reputation is getting stronger just like every other Japanese product.I've owned my current laptop for only a few weeks.
I love the idea of being able to plug into the internet anywhere I go. Or being able to transport school work or paperwork associated with my job anywhere. Its a real eye catcher and people ask many questions about it, especially the price! Loading other software in this one was also easy, Just use the disk drive or the floppy drive.
After quizzing the sales associates about different laptops and my personal uses, this is the one I selected .A word of warning buy the extended warranty. My current warranty covers the entire computer from screen to hard drive for the next 4 years.
I am not to soft on anything I own so, I purchase items for durability and bang for my bucks !
