Pros: A whole PC computer in your Pocket. Color, Screen, Memory, Flexibility
Cons: Battery, 4096 colors, controls for games
The Bottom Line: Currently the best PDA. No other Pocket PC could upgrade. It's worth the money. PC in you're pocket. Forget the laptops, this is better...
jediad's Full Review: Hewlett Packard iPAQ H3670 Pocket PC
Okay, I'm a major handheld user since the Sharp Wizard to the Palm's to Pocket PC. I had a Casio EM500 and was very happy with it, but after realizing that 16MB Ram is not enough and also not able to view in direct sunlight, I made the switch to iPAQ. Also, the Casio EM500 screen got stuck and have to reset continuously and still stuck, so returned it... The 3670 comes with 64MB Ram, more than enough to run games, internet, email, MP3's etc all at same time with no problems. The iPAQ has speed with 206MHz ARMS processor. The color screen looks awesome even with just 4096 colors. Able to view in direct sunlight really sold me. I want to use this thing anywhere. With a expansion pack you could add numerous accessories. I have the CF Card Sleeve pack with a 384MB CF type I card. I have movies, MP3's, photo albums, MS Word files, MS Excel files, Avantgo channels, Dictionarys, Games galore... Speaking of games, this iPAQ really blows the competition with games that run smoothly and fast and awesome graphics. A few favorites are Racing Days (Gran Turismo in your pocket), Metalion (3D Arcade shooter), Turjah II (Shooter), dozens more and a lot more in development... It's also upgradeable to MS next OS (Merlin) due to Flash ROM. No other PPC could do that. Now for the few negatives. Battery life last about 5 hours playing MP3's, games, etc constantly or two days of minimum use... My solution to this, AC adapters, Car adapter, battery recharger pack (allows you to carry in pocket a pack that recharges iPAQ when plugged in) and overnight charging daily... 4096 colors, newer screens have 65K, but 4096 with dither really looks as if 65K and could view in sun... Controls for playing games needs software fix where more than one button can be used. iPAQ could only push one button at time causing shooting games to stop on and off to move than shoot etc. Work around this is using the stylus to move and button to shoot (hopefully a software fix comes soon, otherwise stylus controls excellent)... There you have it my iPAQ 3670 review... Awesome
