Pros: Colors are vivid. Battery life is great.
Cons: A bit bulkier than its B&W siblings.
The Bottom Line: If you need a powerful PDA in color at a reasonable price, this is the unit for you. Very versatile unit.

| darylmark's Full Review: Handspring Visor Prism Handheld |
I purchased my Prism refurbished from E-Bay as I was upgrading from my B&W Visor to the color Prism. I have an 8mb memory card installed on the unit as well.
I couldn't live without the Prism. The colors on it are very rich and with the memory module, there is so much information I can track to help me through my day. The built in rechargeable lithium batteries hold up very well although it could be a problem if you are traveling abroad and have outlet connection problems (get a conversion kit).
Two other difficulties I've had have been in finding compact PDA case. The Visor I had fit easily into my pants pocket and was always available. Because the Prism is a bit larger in size, the PDA case is larger as well and doesn't fit in my pocket as easily as before.
The other challenge I've had has been in finding an attachable keyboard for the Prism. I use Documents-To-Go Software with a MS-Word compatible word processor and without a keyboard, taking notes during meetings is rather tedious with the stylus.
Overall it is a good value and worth the investment especially if you can get a good deal online or through E-Bay.
