Pros: Great color, decient battery life, plenty of memory, expansion slot
Cons: Price and size
The Bottom Line: The expansion slot is a Godsend every PDA should have this type of infinite expandability without making you buy a upgraded unit. Others companies should follow Handsprings lead.

| mnymaker's Full Review: Handspring Visor Prism Handheld |
The Handspring Visor Prism is a wonderful PDA. It uses the PalmOS, has color and plenty of standard memory for palm written applications. The expansion slot on the back of the Handspring is what sets the Visor apart from it's cousin the Palm IIIc. The slot lets you add features such as the backup module (trust me get one), games, and if for some strange reason you need it more memory. You can also you the slot to convert you Handspring into a cellphone. The cellphone can be a neat feature if you live in the right markets that offer the service. The only problem that I have with the Visor Prism is the size it much thicker than the Palm versions but this is due in part to the expansion slot which is located in the back of the unit. I will gladly trade the size problem for the expansion slot though. The unit also weighs more than the Palm units so if you are planning on sticking it in your shirt pocket be warned its heavy.
