Pros: Palm OS, bright color, great in all light except direct bright sunlight, expandable.
Cons: expensive, bulky compared to other PDA's.
The Bottom Line: Bright Color, great contrast, bulky, but a great PDA just the same.

| ristle's Full Review: Handspring Visor Prism Handheld |
The Visor Prism is my first PDA. I did a lot of research, and figured I would buy a Palm. But when I looked at the Palms, they did not seem anywhere near as good. I looked at the Palm 500 and 505. The 505 screen was hard to read and very poor color, and it cost $50 more than the Prism. It looked washed out and almost not in color. In contrast, the Prism was great. Very easy to read. It has the Palm OS, so you can use all the Palm software. My daugher has a Palm Vx, and I can beam programs and data to her, since they both work off the same operating system. The Bus cradle works great, and hot sync's very quickly.
the stylus top unscrews to reveal a phillips head screwdriver which can open the case if needed. The bottom unscrews to reveal a reset button. The Styluses can be bought in bright colors too, if you want a bit of variety.
All in all, this is a very easy to use unit, and the screen and contrast are wonderful!
