The Palm V doesn't have as much RAM as the Palm III-series PDAs, but who cares? It's far more stylish, it's lighter, the screen's better, and the 2MB of RAM that it does have is plenty for practically everything you'd ever think of putting into it.
HotSyncing it to my laptop works pretty well, but only if I reboot the laptop (I'm running Wondows98) before I HotSync. If I don't reboot, the HotSync program crashes.
I got the Dooney-Bourke leather case (about $40) and it was really lousy -- wouldn't close, and it kept accidentally turning the Palm V on when it was in my pocket -- what's worse, it would scroll the calendar forward or backward for a couple of months. Got rid of the case, got one of the Palm brushed aluminum cases, and the problem was solved.
