Mad-Sci's Full Review: TARGUS UNIVERSAL PDA/KEYBOARD CASE - BLACK
The palm portable keyboard is, in my opinion, an absolute necessity for anyone who uses their Palm for entering large amounts of information. I picked up my keyboard for my Palm Vx the other day and it goes absolutely everywhere with me when I am working on certain documents (like the one you are reading right now). This little device is one of the most handy pieces of equipment that you can buy for you Palm. Here are some specs about the Palm keyboards:

Installation:
As with any Palm product, installation for the Palm Portable Keyboard took seconds to complete. You simply install the keyboard software supplied on a CD into your Palm device and do a Hotsink; just like installing any piece of Palm software.
Ease of use:
The Palm Portable Keyboard is incredibly easy to use. You simply unfold it, slide the side keys into position and mount your palm on the built in stand. I don't think that Palm could have made this handy little device any easier to use than it already it.
Portability:
Being slightly larger than my palm, and quite a bit heavier, the palm keyboard is not the easiest thing to carry around. The case provided with the keyboard has little more use than preventing scratches and dings and is not for carrying the bulky device. However, I do think that Palm made the device as portable as possible, though it might not be the easiest thing to carry around.
Performance:
The keys travel just like on a laptop and are very conveniently placed along the keyboard, making access to everything you need very handy. There is a small amount of delay (about 50-200 milliseconds) between the time you type a key and the time the character appears on the screen. This does not take away from the overall effect of the product though, because everything shows up eventually.
Overall:
I think that Palm did a great job putting together this accessory for the Palm portable organizer and I think that it is probably the best Palm accessory currently on the market.
