| srop's Full Review: Canon BJC 2000 InkJet Printer |
When you buy an amateur printer, what can you expect from it? To be cheap, to work, and that’s about it.
This is exactly what I got from the Cannon ink-jet printer. Good quality, fair speed, and for a great price!
I'm a college student, and the only reason I need a printer, is to print essays and other works. I may occasionally use it for some colored-pictures, but that’s about it. Black and white text.
I guarantee you, that you will get the same quality for black text both from a 100$ printer, and a 1000$ one. The only thing that may differ, is the speed of the printing (and I guess I can survive if it will take me 30 seconds more to print).
The quality of the pictures that I get is all I need. It does take some time for them to get out, but I don't care because I have time. For amateur use I don't need a professional printer.
The printouts never jam, so all I do is print a whole bunch of papers, go to the bathroom or anywhere else for 15 minutes, and when I'm back the printouts are waiting for me nice and smooth.
The installation for the printer is easy, and anyone even without much knowledge in computers could install it by itself. The manual is well written, and it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.
I bought this printer for 40$ on Ebay, and it is definitely worth the money.
The normal price is 100$, but there are many discounts over there. This is exactly what I needed, and I don't think that I'd pay more than that for a fairly good printer.
Thanks for reading my review!
