| chantilly20's Full Review: Hewlett Packard Deskjet 952c InkJet Printer |
This is my second printer. My first one was a refurbished BJC Canon 240 Color Bubble Jet Printer and was slow. It still is in good working order. I bought it with my first computer,a refurbished Old IBM 486.
I have to admit, I'm still learning how to use this printer. It has a lot of features. This printer is designed to encompass so many different types of print media that you are practically set up as a small print shop.
Printer Basics
It has three buttons, Cancel Button, Resume Button and light ,Power Button and light. It also has a light that comes on when you are running out of ink. It takes two Cartridges,One Black and the other Color. You will always know when you are running low on ink. It has a cradle to place your cartridges in. Easy to install.
The paper tray pulls out to install up to 100 sheets of paper. The printer runs quite and can print up to eleven pages per minute for black print and about eight pages per minute for text with color graphics. It has a Special Photo tray for printing on HP Premium Plus Photo Paper,Glossy 4 x 6 inch,120 x 152 mm (with tear-off tab).
You get complete instructions on the how to's.
* You can make 4 x 6 inch HP Premium Plus Photos
* It has a slot for printing one envelope at a time or will hold up to fifteen envelopes
* You can print greeting card and business cards. The tray hold five greeting cards at one time and thirty business cards.
* It will print on Transfer paper so you can make pictures to transfer to clothing
* Print labels. Holds up to twenty label sheets.
* It can make banners, which has to be made sections at a time
* Print on two sides of your page at a time.
I have done a good bit of printing on it. The quality of the page is very good. Yesterday we experimented with some glossy paper to print a picture. The picture turned out great. It was as good as what you get when you take your film to get them developed. I haven't tried Greeting Cards yet. I can't wait to see how they turn out. I know of someone that makes their own greeting cards. That would save money and you can put what ever you wanted on your cards.
