I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. I recently upgraded from a Lexmark 1000 to a Lexmark Z11. The 1000 was a good buy and a decent printer for everyday home use but not quite adequate for the documents I bring home from work.
A friend suggested that I check out the Z11. I took that advice and am glad that I did. I caught this printer on sale for $89.00 with a $50.00 rebate. I still find it hard to believe I only paid $39.00 for a printer that is just as good as the top of the line color printers.
Driver installation was quick and easy, taking less than five minutes.
The print speed for colored documents could be faster but I can't really complain. Documents print clear, crisp and vibrant. The ink does not bleed or blur as with many inkjet printers. Photo prints, even on plain paper, are amazingly precise.
The paper tray holds up to 100 sheets. A variety of paper products can be used with this machine and include: card stock, plain paper, inkjet paper, labels, iron on transfers and banner paper, to name a few.
To date, I haven't had any problems with this printer. I have been completely satisfied.
