We got this printer for Christmas. It came with a $50.00 rebate so we only spent $50.00 on it.
This printer only has one ink cartridge, so if you want to print a lot of black and white you will need to go buy a black cartridge. After that you will have to keep changing them for when you want color or black and white.
Besides having to switch the cartridges this is a slow printer. You can sit here and hear it pausing to think what it is supposed to do next. You can forget about trying to print out a picture because that takes even longer. I can't tell you how long it takes to print something out because each piece is different.
It also has a tendency to suck in more than one piece of paper and of course that makes it jam. I have found that I have to stick only one or two pieces in the paper feed to stop this problem.
It does talk to you however. I always get a kick out of hearing the guy say "Printing started," or "Printing finished."
If you want a good fast printer don't buy this one!
