While shopping to get a loaded computer with all the top of the line components possible, I was just sure I needed a laser printer. I knew that I could not afford a color laser and that bothered me, but I still wanted to print off a text page at the rate of 8 to 12 pages per minute. When I stumble on to this, I was purely amazed. I was going to get a laser printer that printed only black and white but at the rate of 10 pages per minute. This printer would cost me about $399. Finding this Lexmark z52 at one hundred dollars less sure did improve the decision, but not only price was a factor. This printer out performs lasers that cost as much as three hundred dollars more. At a wonderful price, here is what I got:
-The ability to print 15 pages per minute in black and white text.
-The ability to print 7 pages per minute in color text which is great considering I was about to give up color printing all together, and this printer prints color text as fast as some of the lasers printer black text.
-Great quality prints that with the write paper can print my digital camera pictures quickly, straight from home, and cost effective.
-Easy to use funtions and software. I dreaded loading the ink into the printer, but it took three steps and worked first try with no hassle. A quick print test allowed me to adjust the printer to print correctly, and I have had no problems. Also, this printer is designed to hook up to the computer by either USB or printer port another great feature.
I am extremely thankful that I found a printer that works this well. Every printer I have worked with before has given me so many problems, and problems are exactly what I don't need on a new system.
