I bought this printer for my business. My previous printer Apple Laser Writer was excellent printer and I used it for more than 10 years. When I switched from Macintosh to PC I bought Xerox P8 for its price and because it was made by Xerox. I thought that Xerox has very good reputation and long tradition in laser products. I needed a reliable printer for my business.
It was total waste of money. The text quality is very poor (Resume Services) and inconsistent; graphics are useless. The printer setting for graphics is very complex and I still cannot figure it out.
Toner, which is the most expensive from all toners lasts about 1/3 of advertised. I bought this printer from Staples (in Canada), but it took me 10 days to get another cartage, because store did not have any. This was 10 frustrating days of interruptions in my business and apologies to my customers. It is very expensive to run ($/page).
I am trying to return the printer back to Xerox.
DO NOT BUY IT!
