I own a Xerox Docuprint P8 printer and have had it for about a year. I feel that this is enough time to be able to give an informed review.
One of the things that I like about it is that it is compact in space and fits very nicely on my work space.
It has the capability of releasing the printed material upward into a bin, or downward straight out onto my desk top. I find that generally the upward bin is more suitable, but when I occasionally do work on card stock, the straight forward makes the paper come out flatter and not so curled up.
The cartridges are very simple to change, and I get a $5.00 rebate for returning my used cartridge. I do not know if this is the standard for Lazer printers. My Docuprint is the only one I have ever owned.
Now for the down side. It is very common for the printer to leave spots on the page as if something is stuck on the roller and leaving a long trail of messy blotches. I have not been able to solve the problem other than put a new cartridge in and at the price, sometimes that creates a problem.
I do not think I would buy another Xerox printer because of the spotting problem.
