The Xerox Docuprint P8 is one of Xerox’s worst. Although it is quiet, easy to use, fast, and it gives great quality to the things it prints out, the toner cartridge costs too much. If you buy the printer factory reconditioned, it costs $130. However, the ink cartridge costs $150. Another thing that makes the printer worse is that the ink runs out fast. The cartridge lasts for 3,000 pages of text, but if you print out half toned pictures, the ink wastes fast. When it does, it prints out the document that you printed, but with white lines on the side of it. Eventually, the lines spread across the entire document when the ink totally runs out. But the good thing is that if you take out the toner cartridge and keep tilting it from left to right a couple of times, the white lines sometimes disappear. Also, it prints well on envelopes, but some transparent sheets damage the printer. Overall, it is a good printer, but the toner cartridge costs too much.
