Had an old epson ribbon printer, you know size of a truck.
Saw this advertised on QVC UK at a good price so bought one, waited for my first ever inkjet printer to arrive and within a week it had.
Came with very good instructions and was easy to install, first problem encounted was that it did not like loading photo quality paper.
The print quality was very good,the real problems started when it was just over a year old the paper feed just became so unreliable that you have to nurse it through its print cycle (but you will always end up with some chewed up pages), also the red jet has stoped working even though the nozzels were cleaned out several times, the black has also become ragged and smears on right hand side of page,though I put these faults down to the ink cartridge carrier wich has the ink jets on, when you replace say lexmark you get new print head on ink cartridge but you pay for it.
In England you get just the one years gaurantee so cant give it back to Xerox, though I have had a lot of fun with it and the software supplied is excellent also got the printer cable has well.
I will never buy a printer again unless I have read reviews from people who have owned one for more than twelve months, I wanted a epson but seem now to favour a HP printer.
