If you're looking for an inexpensive printer that can do the job, then you should take a look at the Xerox DocuPrint XJ6C.
This printers key features are its sharp text, low-maintenance, simplicity and sweet price tag. Selling in most places for under $100, the XJ6C is perfect for the home-computer or as a start-up printer for a small business or non-profit organization. It prints up newsletters, memos and letters like any of its higher priced cousins, and the three- button function and snap-in color cartridges make this well worth the investment.
Unfortunately, with the smaller cost also come some lower quality points. The color delivered by this model is less that true-to-life. While not a bad color printer, its colors are less bold and distinct and a lower quality dpi than some others. Its other drawback is a clumsy paper feed. It takes the precision of gluing a hair on a pin head to make this printer feed paper without a hitch. This is easy enough to overcome once you've worked with the printer enough and larger paper quantities cuts down on the misfeeds dramatically.
While not perfect, this little printer is certainly capable of doing the big jobs and doing them well, making it the perfect answer to your printing needs when you're on a budget.
