| kaylar's Full Review: Xerox DocuPrint XJ6C InkJet Printer |
My old dot matrix was on it's last legs, I needed a Printer
yesterday and a friend of mine brought this one to my office.
It is a cheap printer but does gives a reasonable level of quality printing.
As a 'dumb' peripheral all instructions come from the computer which is always a negative in printers where the paper's position/substance is unknown to the computer (if you're typing a letter and the paper had gone in upside down or backways, trying to stop it--well--pulling the plug is the wisest path.
the colour quality is not bad, one has to use the 'vivid' when one really needs colour, can remain with the default when one is just going for background.
As with all ink jets the ink does not last, refills/ replacements are a constant expense.
For an instant printer--plug in and go, this one fills the bill
